Lafayette Parish high school seniors who want to get started with college can do so at Â鶹ҹÊÐ this fall.
Applications are still being accepted for the Fall 2007 Jumpstart Program. Qualified high school seniors can enroll in up to two Â鶹ҹÊÐ courses including Psychology 110, Sociology 100 and Geology 105.
Students must be on track to complete the Board of Regents (TOPS) Core, have a 2.75 cumulative GPA, and ACT scores of an 18 in English, an 18 in Math and a 21 composite.
Students receive college credit and high school credit for courses. The only cost is a $25 application fee. Students in Jumpstart will not have to re-apply to Â鶹ҹÊÐ following high school graduation.
